'Staying Connected' Program
Staying Connected is a half-day workplace program to help separated dads take control of their lives and stay connected to their children. It is designed for small groups and provides simple and practical hints and tips to support fathers after separation.

Life Care Suicide Prevention Program
This program aims to prevent suicide amongst young people in the building and construction industry. The program raises awareness of suicide and its risk factors and promotes positive life skills to support apprentices with the daily challenges of work and life.
The program was recently recognised by the State Government as making an outstanding contribution in the areas of health prevention and promotion at the 2009 Victorian Premier's Public Healthcare Awards where it won a Silver Award.
Incolink is delivering the Life Care program throughout Victoria and is offering this important training to all first year Construction Industry Apprentices and in association with the generous support from Cbus Superannuation and the Federal Government Department of Health and Ageing.

Problem Gambling Preventative Education Kit
Also aimed at apprentices and young workers, Incolink has developed an information kit and preventative education program on the issues associated with problem gambling. The program was developed for industry trainers, TAFE colleges and group training companies. Titled 'You Bet', the kit is designed to assist apprentices and young people in the industry understand the issues and signs of problem gambling in their own lives and in the lives of work colleagues, friends and family. It involves written materials and a DVD to illustrate how to identify a problem and where to go for help.

Financial Awareness Program
We support apprentices and young workers to make the most of their money. Training and financial information is provided to improve financial management skills, such as how to create a budget and how to make smarter financial choices. Emphasis is placed on financial issues most relevant to apprentices - for example, car loans, car insurances, government payment entitlements and mobile phone contracts.

Drug and Alcohol Preventative Education Program
This program aims to prevent alcohol and drug related harm amongst apprentices and young workers. Education is provided on the impact of drugs and alcohol on the body, alcohol content, standard drinks, and the legal blood alcohol concentration limit. The program also raises awareness of the possible detrimental effects of drug and alcohol use on other aspects of life, such as physical health, relationships, work, etc.
Safe and responsible behaviour in relation to drug and alcohol use is promoted through increased positive life skills. The program also addresses the Victorian Building Industry Alcohol and Other Drugs Policy and its implications for apprentices and young workers.

Help-Seeking Awareness Program
This program raises awareness of mental health, including depression, and encourages apprentices and young workers to seek help if they are experiencing difficulty in their life. This program provides information on who young people can talk to and the support services that are available to them.
This program is being implemented with support from Beyond Blue.

Incolink Prostate Cancer Campaign
Incolink provides members with up to $50 each for a simple test to detect prostate cancer – a disease that affects one in 11 men in Australia. With 10,000 new cases diagnosed each year, prostate cancer is the most frequent cancer, and the second highest cause of cancer-related deaths, in Australian men. The good news is it is treatable if detected early, with almost 100 per cent of men diagnosed early disease-free after five years, according to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
To encourage members to take the simple PSA blood test, Incolink provides up to $50 each to cover the difference between the total bill and the Medicare rebate. In addition to the $200,000 for this screening program, Incolink is providing $50,000 to Brisbane’s Mater Medical Research Institute, which is a world leader in prostate research.
