Incolink Life Care Suicide Prevention Program

The Life Care program aims to prevent suicide amongst young people in the building and construction industry. The program, delivered by the Apprentice Support Workers, raises awareness of suicide and its risk factors. It promotes positive life skills for dealing with the daily challenges of work and life through presentations for apprentices in TAFE colleges throughout regional and metropolitan Victoria

These presentations cover a range of topics such as alcohol and other drug education, life skills, suicide prevention and financial management. The Apprentice Support Workers are also available to provide follow up support and counselling to apprentices. Call Member Services to arrange for an Apprentice Support Worker to deliver a session.

The Life Care Program is supported by Cbus and the Australian Government.
