A statement from the Incolink Board of Directors

Posted on Nov 18, 2024

As we expand to support more construction employers and workers than ever before, we have provided this statement in response to an inquiry from the AFR:

ATTRIBUTABLE TO AN INCOLINK SPOKESPERSON:

"The Incolink Board supported the decision to expand our offering in the New South Wales market.

After obtaining external legal advice, in line with good governance procedures, the trust deed was amended and approved unanimously by the Incolink board.

All major business decisions are powers reserved for the Board – which has representation from both employer groups and unions.

The expansion into NSW has already delivered services to almost 5,000 additional construction workers.

The board is united in their support for ensuring workers’ entitlements are secure.

Incolink is the national safety net for the building and construction industry helping workers facing redundancy.

It exists only to serve members - making investments that support their jobs, health and wellbeing services, and training".
