Training
We’re delivering on our promise of making it easier for our hard-working members to upskill.
In June 2025 we launched our training voucher program and now it's coming to South Australia.
What this means for you
Members who can’t access one of our already funded training centres can apply for a ‘top-up’ voucher of up to $1,500 to help access training. This is in addition to your Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) funding.
We are partnering with selected industry training providers in South Australia to offer in-demand courses.
This site will be updated as details of additional courses become available and you can apply for your voucher here.
You may be eligible for a Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) training subsidy. To receive the subsidy, you must provide a CITB number when you enrol in a course.
To find your CITB number, please go to: https://citb.org.au/mycitb/fin...
For more information on that subsidy, please contact the CITB on (08) 8172 9500.

Do I need my employer's permission to do training?
If you need to take time of work to do the training then you will need your employer's approval to take the time off.
Before you apply for a voucher
Once you’ve decided which course you want to do be sure to check that the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is offering it on a day that suits you in the next three months.
When you apply, you’ll need to include both the course and the RTO in your application.

Frequently Asked Questions
Incolink funds the difference between the full cost of the course and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) subsidised course.
If the course you’re interested in costs more than $1,500, you can pay the difference.
Each ‘top-up’ voucher can only be used for one course. If your course costs less than $1,500, the voucher will still be considered completely used.
You can apply for and use two $1,500 ‘top-up’ vouchers during the life of your membership with Incolink. You can only have one active voucher at a time.
When you go to the training voucher portal in WorkerLink you’ll see the eligibility criteria and know right away. You won’t be able to apply for the ‘top-up’ voucher unless you meet the eligibility criteria. If you can’t apply online but believe you meet the requirements, please contact our team on 1800 337 789.
If you’re not eligible for an Incolink training ‘top-up’ voucher, you can speak with our Training and Careers Advisor by calling 1800 337 789. They will be able to talk through other training options with you or you can contact the Construction Industry Training Board on (08) 8172 9500.
We have consulted extensively with members, the CFMEU SA, the CITB, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) including CITC, and employers, and government agencies to identify high-demand courses.
No. ‘Top-up’ vouchers can only be used for new enrolments made after the voucher is issued. They can’t be applied to a course you’ve already completed or are currently doing.
