Posted on Nov 27, 2025

STATEMENT FROM THE INCOLINK BOARD

The Incolink Board has today informed our members and stakeholders that Erik Locke has decided to complete his term as CEO in May 2026.

The Board will commence a process of CEO recruitment, and we will ensure a careful and thorough handover.

We thank Erik for his unwavering commitment to Incolink and our members throughout his tenure.

Under his tenure as CEO, we have doubled in size, expanded interstate and become the first and only fund to offer dividends to workers, comprehensive health and wellbeing services, and industry training.

We are not just advocating for regulation – we are prepared for it.

The fund, our Board and its members thank Erik for his strategic and visionary leadership and the value he has created for our members and the industry as a whole.”

STATEMENT FROM ERIK LOCKE, CEO OF INCOLINK

Recently I notched up six years at Incolink.

We now deliver dividends to workers, industry training, health and wellbeing services.

We’ve built sustainable careers for women in construction, supported hundreds of Indigenous apprentices to get a start, and helped businesses to get ahead and be employers of choice.

We led the industry response to COVID-19 which saw us remain the pulse in the Victorian economy.

We’ve enhanced our governance and introduced a more representative model. We've fought for regulation, and we're ready for it.

I'm very proud that in my time we grew a world-best suicide prevention service in Bluehats, which now saves lives every day as part of our broader wellbeing services.

Last year I suffered life-changing injuries. While there will never be a right time in the current environment, I have to prioritise my physical and mental recovery, and the Fund deserves a CEO who can focus fully on the challenges ahead.

The Board and I have discussed succession for some time and I appreciate their support. I will reduce my workload and help the Fund transition between now and May.

I want to thank our Members, our Board, our President, my friends at Incolink, our shareholders and this great industry.
