Drop the act

Too tough to talk? It’s time to drop the act and reach out for help if you need it. Incolink counselling is here to support members and their families.

*This page discusses mental health and suicide prevention. If you or someone you know needs immediate support please reach out. Help is available and it can make a difference. You can phone LifeLine on 13 11 14.

Sometimes life can become overwhelming. Challenges at work, home or in life can be stressful and difficult to deal with.

We’re encouraging you to Drop the act when it comes to your mental health and seek help if you need it.

While it might seem easier to pretend everything’s okay that won’t help solve the issues you’re facing.

It’s brave to be vulnerable, it takes courage and strength to take action and get help.

Next time someone asks you if you’re alright, try being honest with them about what’s going on. They may not be able to fix what’s going on, but they might lend an ear and support you through it.

Book an appointment
