Incolink Mind Health Champion Award

It's time to publicly recognise and celebrate these unsung mind health champions in our industry.

Recognising the Mind Health Champions in our industry

On average an Australian construction worker dies by suicide once every two days.

While mental health continues to plague the industry there are champions out there actively working to change that.

We've heard stories of people in the industry that go above and beyond to breakdown the stigma of mental health and create the space for people to reach out for help and share what they're going through.

It's time to publicly recognise and celebrate these unsung heroes in our industry.

Presented by John Setka

In recognition of his longstanding commitment to mental health and to continue this legacy the awards will be presented by John.

How it works

Every two years we will call for nominations for people in the industry that go above and beyond to breakdown the stigma of mental health and create the space for people to reach out for help and share what they're going through.

Nominations will be open for two months and will be assessed by a group of esteemed health and safety professionals.

The winner will be announced at the Bluehats conference the same year.

The prize

The official Incolink Mind Health Champion for each period will receive a trophy, prize worth $3,000 and a budget to hold mind health related events on site.

They will also have the opportunity to appear on Bluehats collateral over a two-year period until the next recipient of the award is announced.
