Health Checks IN 3 EASY STEPS

Posted on May 01, 2019

Incolink has been looking after our members’ wellbeing for nearly 30 years. Today, the need to focus our efforts and provide constructive practical health and wellbeing support for construction workers is as strong as ever.

Incolink Health Checks is a threestage program which enables workers to find out early if they are at risk of any chronic disease like high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease. Incolink manages the whole process and the Health Checks are held on site. The free 15-minute Health Checks are supported by all key stakeholders in the construction industry.

STAGE 1 - Incolink - Your Questions Answered

  • Benefits of being an Incolink member.
  • Choice of redundancy accounts.
  • Insurances.
  • Why get a Health Check.
STAGE 2 - Quick easy and confidential Health Checks

Incolink Health Checks help workers understand their risk of heart disease and Type 2 diabetes. All Health Checks are conducted by trained health professionals and are completely confidential.

What will happen in your personal Health Check?

  • A short questionnaire.
  • Your waist circumference, blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol will be measured by a health professional.
  • Immediate information and advice based on your results.
STAGE 3 - Your Education Toolbox

After the Health Check, Incolink members on each site are asked to vote for a health education toolbox delivered by one of our counsellors from the following topics:
