Class of 2017 marks MBAV highly

Posted on May 11, 2018

Master Builders has been given high marks by students who graduated from our broad range of training courses in 2017.

The National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) has notified Master Builders that once students had completed their course work and started their search for employment, 98.6 per cent reported success in finding a job. That score compares to a national average of 78 per cent.

Master Builders also scored high marks among students for things like ‘training that was relevant to their current job’, ‘achieving their main reasons for enrolling in training’ and for ‘being motivated to recommend Master Builders as a training provider’. In each of these areas, Master Builders ranked 95 per cent or higher and consistently outperformed the national average.

These results have been published in the report VET student outcomes: 2017 Master Builders Association of Victoria, a copy of which is available online at mbavnews.com.au.

When we say Master Builders offers the best industry training available, we can back that up with awards (Victorian Small Training Provider of the Year 2016), and testimonials from people like you — the skilled workers who become our students.

As leaders of our industry, we must lead on all fronts, and in no area is leadership more important than in crafting the training that guides this and future generations of construction workers. It’s important to keep our eyes on not just where the construction industry is today, but where it’s headed tomorrow, and then develop the best training with the right trainers.

Master Builders and the Building Leadership Simulation Centre (BLSC) are always ready to help you get the work you’re after. Pick up a copy of the Industry Training Guide, have a look at what we offer, and then call (03) 9411 4555 for more information.
