When redundancy and insurance premiums are paid

Incolink Employer members in News South Wales who are paying Redundancy Contributions and Insurance Premiums on an Incolink employee member's behalf will receive access to our Accident and Illness Benefits program for their employees, including:

  • Leisure Time Injury - Weekly Benefit
  • Broken bones
  • Capital benefits
  • Bill Payer
  • Pre-term Labour & Miscarriage Benefit
  • Leisure time Illness – Weekly Benefits
  • Workers Compensation Top-Up
  • Workplace Death & Capital Benefits

When redundancy contributions are paid

Employee members will also receive Discretionary Cover for Funerals if their redundancy contributions are up-to-date.

Incolink WIMS

Eligible* workers are also able to access Incolink's Work Injury Management Service (Incolink WIMS) – a specialised construction workers’ compensation injury management service for Incolink members. Incolink WIMS is provided by Total Claims Solutions. Find out more about WIMS here.

Incolink Employer members in South Australia who are paying Redundancy Contributions on Incolink Employee Member's behalf will receive Discretionary Cover, including:

  • Emergency Transport (incl. Family)
  • Accidental Dental (incl. Family)
  • Funeral (Member Only)

Incolink Employer members in South Australia who pay insurance premiums on behalf of Incolink Employee Members will also receive:

  • Leisure Time Injury - Weekly Benefit
  • Capital Benefits (Death)
  • Journey Cover - Weekly Benefits

Incolink Employer members in Tasmania who are paying Redundancy Contributions or are recording Apprentice Days on Incolink Employee Member's behalf will receive Leisure Time Accident Insurance for their employees, including:

  • Journey Cover - Weekly Benefits
  • Journey Cover - Capital Benefits
  • Bill Payer

When Additional IPT Contributions are Paid

Incolink Employer members in Tasmania who also pay IPT Contributions on behalf of Incolink Employee Members will also receive Income Protection and Trauma (IPT) Insurance for their Employees, including:

  • Leisure Time Illness - Weekly Benefit
  • Bill Payer
  • Workplace Death and Capital Benefits

  • Bill Payer (when additional premium is paid)

When Additional IPT Contributions are Paid

Incolink Employer members in Victoria who also pay IPT Contributions on behalf of Incolink Employee Members will also receive Income Protection and Trauma (IPT) Insurance for their Employees, including:

  • Leisure Time Illness - Weekly Benefit
  • Bill Payer (When Additional Premium is paid)
  • TAC Top-Up
  • Workers Compensation Top-Up
  • Workplace Death and Capital Benefits
  • WorkCover Top-Up and Workplace Death and Capital Benefits for workers aged 70-75.*

When Additional PSL Insurance Contributions are Paid

Should Employer Members pay PSL Insurance Contributions on a Worker member's behalf, the following cover will also be made available to Worker members:

  • Sick Leave Benefit - Injury
  • Sick Leave Benefit - Illness
  • Sick Leave Benefit - Carers

Portable Sick Leave Insurance records and holds up to 100 days of unused sick leave a worker has remaining at time of termination, and is available to workers who meet the following the conditions:

  • The worker is employed and working for an employer registered in the PSLI program.
  • The employer is paying the PSLI premium on the worker's behalf.

Days will be held for up to 2 years from last employer PSLI premium contribution payment.

Office-based workers insurance

Incolink offers employer members the opportunity to cover their office-based staff with the Accident and Illness Benefits Insurance Program. This applies to all workers who are at least 50% office-based.

All insurance inquiries for Office-Based Workers can be made to Incolink’s insurance provider Total Claims Solutions.

* Only applies for workers who are gainfully employed by a registered employer member who has continued to pay their redundancy and IPT premiums up to age 70, cover for Workcover top-up and workplace death and capital benefits is extended up to their 75th birthday. Redundancy payments must continue up to the worker’s 75th birthday.
