Hobart construction worker wins Incolink fishing competition

Posted on Jan 30, 2018

We were blown away by the number of Tassie members who entered our competition to win a legendary Stuart Nichols Personalised Fishing Charters day trip. Alas there can only be one winner and the lucky fella was Brett Hext, a construction worker at the Royal Hobart Hospital site.

Brett and three mates headed to Eaglehawk Neck, an hours drive from Hobart, on 21 January, and struck it lucky with calm seas and great fishing conditions. Although Tassie's famed Albacore tuna was nowhere to be seen, the boys caught enough squid, flathead and morwong to fill their freezers for months. A fantastic day was had by all — except possibly the fish!

Incolink thanks Skipper Stu Nichols whose two decades of running fishing charters ensured the group came home with a good haul. Check out our Facebook page for pics from the day — and if you haven't already liked our page, make sure you do so you'll be first to hear about future competitions, industry news and member events.
