INCOLINK INSURANCE Your family’s safety net

Incolink is the only redundancy fund to provide Leisure Time Accident Insurance cover to all Incolink worker members as part of your redundancy. Incolink Insurance offers a greater degree of financial security to you and your family and acts as a safety net when times are tough. The average family will experience stressful ups and downs in their finances throughout the year and this part of the Incolink insurance program can assist by covering costs if you have an accident in your leisure time.

What is offered?

Both the Incolink Leisure Time Accident Insurance and Discretionary Covers are included when your employer is paying redundancy payments into Incolink according to your EBA or other industrial instrument*. These include:

Incolink Leisure Time Accident Insurance Cover for members only:

  • Weekly Benefit
  • Broken Bones
  • Capital benefits, and
  • Journey Cover (weekly and capital benefits)
Incolink Discretionary Covers:
  • Ambulance (including family)
  • Accidental Dental (including family)
  • Funeral (member only)
Any gaps in payments will mean you are not covered under this program so it is important to check your redundancy payments are up to date to ensure coverage.

Check you are covered

Remember to register with Incolink Job Support whenever you are unemployed and between jobs to take advantage of the nine month extension to your coverage (excluding Journey). You can check your payments and your balance at any time via the Incolink smartphone app or via Workerlink at incolink.org.au.

An Incolink Insurance family example**

Aki and his partner Samantha have 2 children, Amy (5) and Tam (2). Over the course of one year Incolink Leisure Time Accident Insurances and Discretionary Covers assisted them in covering some of their unexpected costs.
