Promoting a healthy industry with Incolink's Health Checks program

Posted on Jan 15, 2018

Incolink Tasmania recently launched health checks for members at the Hutchinson's ICON/Myer job site in Hobart. A large proportion of workers at the site took up the opportunity to have their blood pressure, blood sugars and cholesterol levels checked by our partners at WorkHealth.

The Health Checks program also gives workers the opportunity to have a mental health and wellbeing check up, including referral to Incolink's industry-leading counselling service if required.

Incolink has delivered 23,000 health checks at 450 Victorian construction sites since launching the program in 2009. We are excited to now be offering it to workers in Tasmania.

The philosophy behind Health Checks is that a healthy workforce promotes a safer and more productive workplace. This not only benefits workers, but also their families, employers and the industry as a whole.

For more information on getting Health Checks rolled out at your job site, contact our Hobart office on 0419 376 362.
