Incolink Bluehats Suicide Prevention Program nominated for Best Men’s Health Project

Posted on June 29, 2022

The Incolink Bluehats Suicide Prevention Program has been shortlisted in the National Men's Health Awards 2022 for Best Men’s Mental Health program.

The program was designed as a peer-to-peer support network providing education, training and support to workers based on site requirements.

The Bluehats program helps workers who are doing it tough by providing someone to talk to on site. Incolink counsellors come to site and train workers in Suicide Prevention, so they can help those around them.

Speaking about the program, Incolink CEO Erik Locke said “Bluehats are saving lives. Our clinical model with the reach provided by trusted peers represents the very best in safety nets”.

Since launching in October 2018, the Bluehats Program has trained over 350 workers in suicide prevention.
