Stress is a normal part of life, but too much stress can be a problem. There are many factors which influence how much stress we experience as well as how we handle it.

Handling stress

Having people to support us in life like our partner, family or friends can make handling stress more manageable. We can also make choices which reduce stress. Long-term stress can have serious effects on our mental and physical health.

Stress can effect our:

  • Work
  • Health
  • Relationships
  • Money
  • Sleep

Time, support from family and friends, and talking to someone can all contribute to helping us manage the stress we are feeling. If you need to talk to someone, call Incolink Counselling on 1300 000 129.
