Incolink promoting services to BMD work sites

Posted on Mar 15, 2018

Incolink Industry Liaison Officers visit building and construction sites all around Victoria. They're an integral part of informing all our worker members of the benefits and services available to them. Tony visited BMD workers on the stretch of the Princes Highway between Winchelsea to Colac. The BMD team are working on duplicating and reconstructing the existing road. On site last week Tony talked about the redundancy accounts and insurance benefits for members. Incolink has previously delivered toolbox talks on these sites with our Prevention Education Team raising awareness on Mental Health and Drugs & Alcohol. Membership to Incolink also means you and your family can talk to a counsellor by calling 1300 000 129. As Johnny, the shop steward at the sites, says. “The first phone call is always the hardest but once they’ve made it, most members come back to me and say it was the best thing they have ever done.”
